The 2 T/h electrochemical wastewater treatment system has been successfully put into operation, achieving a 97% COD removal rate and enabling the efficient reuse of industrial wastewater.
Recently, the custom-developed 2 T/h electrochemical advanced oxidation wastewater treatment system designed by our company for a metal manufacturing enterprise has been successfully installed, commissioned and officially put into operation. This system has effectively reduced the Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) of high-concentration acidic wastewater from the initial 2000 mg/L to 60 mg/L, achieving an impressive removal rate of 97%. This result stably outperforms the client’s required reuse standard of ≤ 100 mg/L. The treated effluent has been successfully recycled for the enterprise’s production processes, realizing a closed-loop water resource utilization.
Tailored to the characteristics of acidic and high-organic-content wastewater generated in the metal processing industry, this electrochemical treatment system can rapidly and non-selectively degrade complex organic substances in wastewater through an efficient electrocatalytic oxidation process. It successfully overcomes the bottlenecks of traditional treatment technologies, such as difficult treatment procedures, large dosage of chemical agents and high operational costs. Featuring stable operation and high automation, the system not only ensures superior treatment performance but also significantly cuts down on operational and sludge disposal costs.
The successful implementation of this project has not only helped the client address the pressure of meeting environmental compliance standards, but also directly saved the enterprise costs associated with freshwater intake and wastewater discharge by converting wastewater into reusable production water, thus creating remarkable economic and environmental benefits. This marks another important breakthrough in the application of electrochemical technology in the field of high-difficulty industrial wastewater treatment and resource recovery.
Our company is committed to providing advanced and reliable electrochemical water treatment solutions for customers worldwide. The outstanding performance of this project has once again verified our core technical strength and engineering application capabilities in treating industrial wastewater with high COD levels, high salinity and refractory organic compounds.
We look forward to extending this successful experience to more industries and regions facing similar challenges, helping industrial enterprises around the globe achieve green production and sustainable development.
