The MBBR-MBR integrated coupled sewage treatment system we provide is an innovative and high-efficiency solution that deeply combines the MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) enhanced biological treatment process with the MBR (Membrane Bioreactor) high-efficiency separation technology within a single reactor. This system is not a simple series connection of the two technologies, but through optimized design, the biofilm carriers of MBBR are fluidized in the MBR membrane tank, thereby simultaneously maximizing the biological treatment efficiency and achieving ultra-purification of effluent quality in a compact space. It is particularly suitable for high-standard discharge and water reuse requirements.

Its core technical principle is as follows: special suspended biological fillers (MBBR carriers) are dosed into the reactor equipped with membrane modules. These carriers provide a huge attached growth surface area for microorganisms, forming a highly active biofilm system that can efficiently degrade organic matter and perform nitrification and denitrification for nitrogen removal. Its treatment capacity and shock load resistance are significantly superior to the traditional activated sludge process. At the same time, the MBR membrane modules (usually ultrafiltration or microfiltration membranes) at the end of the reactor directly conduct high-efficiency solid-liquid separation, which can 100% retain suspended solids, biofilm carriers and most bacteria and viruses. The effluent is clear and transparent, eliminating the need for a secondary sedimentation tank, and the water quality stably meets the surface water standard or direct reuse standard.
