For the high-concentration, refractory and high-color industrial wastewater generated during the production process of the papermaking industry, we provide professionally customized integrated biological treatment systems. The equipment is specially designed to address the treatment challenges of persistent pollutants such as lignin, cellulose derivatives and bleaching chlorides in papermaking wastewater. By integrating enhanced biotechnology with a multi-stage process configuration, it achieves stable up-to-standard discharge and reclaimed water reuse, helping papermaking enterprises meet stringent environmental requirements, reduce treatment costs and realize green production.

Due to the complexity of the papermaking process, papermaking wastewater exhibits distinct characteristics of industrial wastewater:

High Concentration and Refractory Nature: It contains large quantities of lignin, hemicellulose and their derivatives, resulting in extremely high COD levels and low biodegradability (B/C ratio).

Highly Toxic Substances: Chlorinated lignin, AOX (Adsorbable Organic Halides) and other biotoxic substances are produced during the pulping and bleaching stages.

High Chromaticity and Foaming Tendency: Lignin and its chromophoric groups lead to deep wastewater color, while surface-active substances are prone to causing foaming.

Great Fluctuations in Water Quality and Quantity: Significant variations occur due to switches in raw materials, production processes and paper grades.

This system adopts a targeted combined process consisting of high-efficiency physicochemical pretreatment + toxicity-resistant anaerobic degradation + multi-stage aerobic biochemical treatment + advanced decolorization assurance, ensuring the step-by-step decomposition and removal of characteristic pollutants.

Water Quality Equalization and Neutralization: An equalization tank is installed to balance water volume and quality, and automatically adjust pH to the optimal range for biological treatment.

Key Physicochemical Pretreatment: Optional electrochemical advanced oxidation equipment can be configured to break down the structure of refractory organic matter, improve wastewater biodegradability, and preliminarily remove partial chromaticity and toxic substances, clearing obstacles for subsequent biological treatment.

Anaerobic Treatment: An anaerobic tank is employed to domesticate exclusive toxicity-resistant strains, which decompose macromolecular complex organics such as lignin into small-molecular organic acids under high-concentration conditions.

Aerobic Treatment: Multi-stage A/O process, MBR (Membrane Bioreactor) or biological contact oxidation process based on special bacterial agents is adopted. Under optimized dissolved oxygen control, it thoroughly degrades small-molecular organics and efficiently achieves nitrogen and phosphorus removal.

Targeted Decolorization: A dedicated decolorizing bacterial agent dosing system or high-efficiency coagulation sedimentation/filtration unit is added after the aerobic stage to ensure the effluent color meets the sensory standard of being clear and transparent.

Intelligent Control System: Integrated with online monitoring instruments (COD, pH, ORP, dissolved oxygen) and a PLC control system, it real-timely optimizes aeration, reflux and nutrient dosing, ensuring the system operates in an optimal state to cope with production fluctuations.

Core Product Advantages and Customer Value

Strong Targeted Performance & Efficient Degradation of Persistent COD: Specifically designed to break down papermaking characteristic pollutants such as lignin and cellulose, the system has strong toxicity resistance and shock load resistance.

Excellent Decolorization and Water Purification Effect: Through the dual pathways of "biodegradation + physicochemical assurance", it ensures extremely low effluent chromaticity and turbidity with clear sensory quality, meeting the high requirements for direct discharge or advanced reuse.

High Integration & Rapid Deployment: Modular and skid-mounted design adapts to compact plant layouts, greatly shortens project construction cycles, and enables rapid installation, commissioning and production startup.

Fully Automatic and Intelligent Operation: It realizes unattended intelligent control. Through the remote monitoring platform, real-time tracking of equipment operation status and fault early warning can be achieved globally, which greatly reduces operation and maintenance difficulty and labor costs.
