Dyeing and printing wastewater contains a large amount of structurally complex synthetic dyes (such as reactive dyes, disperse dyes, direct dyes, etc.), auxiliaries, and incompletely fixed pigments. Characterized by extremely high chroma and heavy COD load, this type of wastewater also contains many dye molecules with stable structures like benzene rings and anthraquinones, resulting in poor biodegradability and great difficulty in treatment with traditional biological processes. Meanwhile, conventional physicochemical decolorization processes generally rely on large doses of chemical coagulants, leading to high operational costs and massive colored chemical sludge, which creates new disposal challenges.
To address the core demand for advanced decolorization and purification of dyeing wastewater, we have launched our Electrochemical Wastewater Treatment Equipment. Based on the principles of electrochemical advanced oxidation and synergistic effects, this system is specially optimized for efficiently destroying chromophoric groups and degrading dye molecules, providing a clean and high-efficiency treatment solution that eliminates the need for decolorizing agents and avoids the generation of colored sludge.
Core Advantages of the Equipment
High-Efficiency Destruction of Chromophoric Groups for Advanced and Stable Decolorization
Through electrode reactions, the equipment in-situ generates strong oxidizing reactive species, which can directly attack and cleave chromophoric groups (e.g., azo bonds, anthraquinone structures) in dye molecules, achieving efficient and thorough decolorization while degrading macromolecular dyes into small-molecule organics. The entire process requires no chemical decolorizers or coagulants, fundamentally eliminating the generation of colored chemical sludge and the problem of salt accumulation caused by chemical dosing, and realizing clean decolorization combined with advanced oxidation.
Integrated Skid-Mounted Design to Meet Flexible Production Needs
Employing factory-prefabricated standardized skid-mounted modules, the equipment features a compact structure with a small footprint. It can be fully and rapidly transported to production sites for quick installation and system integration, making it particularly suitable for printing and dyeing enterprises with compact production layouts and limited treatment space, and satisfying their operational demands for rapid deployment and flexible adjustment.
Flexible Process Configuration to Fully Address Treatment Challenges
According to dyeing processes and wastewater discharge characteristics, the equipment can be flexibly applied to different treatment links:
As a High-Efficiency Core Pretreatment Unit: It rapidly eliminates wastewater chroma and biological inhibition, drastically reduces COD load, significantly improves wastewater biodegradability, and creates favorable conditions for subsequent biological treatment.
As an Advanced Treatment & Compliance Guarantee Unit: It performs advanced oxidation “polishing” on the effluent from biochemical processes, ensuring that key indicators such as chroma and COD consistently meet the strictest discharge or reuse standards.
As a Standalone Treatment System: For small-batch, high-chroma dyeing wastewater or reclaimed water reuse projects, it can operate independently to build a one-stop purification process from influent to direct discharge compliance.
Intelligent Control, Stable Operation & Simple Management
Equipped with an intelligent control system, the equipment can automatically adapt to fluctuations in water quality and volume to ensure stable treatment performance. It features rapid startup capability, flexibly matching the production and wastewater discharge characteristics of the printing and dyeing industry—characterized by multiple varieties, small batches, and intermittent operation—and realizing convenient on-demand operation. The process design without chemical dosing greatly simplifies daily operation and management, reducing long-term comprehensive costs and secondary pollution risks.
Our electrochemical wastewater treatment equipment provides an innovative solution for the global textile printing and dyeing industry, delivering advanced decolorization, high-efficiency purification, cost-effectiveness, reliability, and rapid deployment for dyeing wastewater. It serves as a reliable technological choice to help enterprises achieve stable discharge compliance, reduce environmental risks, improve water resource recycling rates, and promote green production.
