The high-concentration manure and urine wastewater generated from livestock and poultry breeding contains ultra-high levels of organic matter (COD often reaching tens of thousands of mg/L), high ammonia nitrogen content, large quantities of suspended solids, pathogenic microorganisms, as well as potentially residual antibiotics and heavy metals. Characterized by intense odor and extremely high pollution load, this type of wastewater is commonly treated with conventional processes such as anaerobic digestion and aerobic biotreatment. However, these methods still face systemic challenges including long treatment cycles, large footprint requirements, seasonal fluctuations in biogas production efficiency, substantial excess sludge generation, and the difficulty of simultaneously achieving efficient nitrogen and phosphorus removal alongside odor control. These issues impose immense pressure on breeding enterprises to meet environmental compliance standards and achieve sustainable development.
To address the treatment challenges of high-concentration breeding wastewater, we have launched our Electrochemical Wastewater Treatment Equipment. Integrating multiple synergistic technologies including electrochemical oxidation, advanced oxidation, and ammonia nitrogen conversion, this system is specially optimized for efficiently degrading complex organic matter in manure and urine wastewater, while simultaneously regulating ammonia nitrogen levels and controlling odor. It provides an innovative, compact, high-efficiency, and easy-to-manage treatment solution that eliminates reliance on complex biochemical processes and avoids the generation of excess biological sludge.
Core Advantages of the Equipment
Potent Oxidation & Synchronous Odor Control to Solve High-Load Challenges
Through electrochemical processes, the equipment generates strong oxidizing reactive species, which can rapidly degrade refractory organic substances (e.g., humic acid, antibiotics) in manure and urine, drastically reducing COD levels. Meanwhile, it efficiently transforms sulfur-containing and nitrogen-containing odor-causing compounds, enabling simultaneous wastewater treatment and odor elimination. The entire process requires no addition of chemical deodorants or flocculants, fundamentally eliminating the generation of chemical sludge and secondary pollution risks. Additionally, it effectively inhibits pathogenic microorganisms, enhancing the safety of the treated effluent.
Skid-Mounted Modular Design for Decentralized, Land-Constrained Breeding Scenarios
Constructed with corrosion-resistant, fully enclosed factory-prefabricated skid-mounted modules, the equipment features an extremely compact structure with a footprint far smaller than that of traditional anaerobic-aerobic combined processes. It can be rapidly transported to breeding farms, realizing “ready-to-install and quick commissioning” upon arrival. This design is particularly suitable for modern breeding bases with limited land resources and decentralized layouts, or as an upgrading and enhancement unit for existing manure and sewage treatment systems.
Flexible Multi-Functional Configuration to Precisely Match Diverse Treatment Objectives
According to breeding scale, manure cleaning methods, and final disposal requirements (compliant discharge, agricultural irrigation, or water reuse), the equipment can be flexibly applied to different treatment stages:
As a High-Efficiency Enhanced Pretreatment Core: It performs rapid oxidation on raw manure wastewater or liquid fractions after solid-liquid separation, efficiently reducing COD and odor while improving biodegradability. It can serve as a pre-treatment enhancement unit for conventional anaerobic digestion, boosting subsequent biogas production efficiency and stability.
As an Advanced Treatment & Compliance Guarantee Unit: It conducts advanced purification on anaerobic effluent or biogas slurry, ensuring that key indicators such as COD, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, and fecal coliform consistently meet stringent discharge standards or agricultural irrigation water requirements.
As an Independent Short-Process Treatment System: For small-to-medium scale breeding farms or specific treatment needs, it can be configured as an independent short-process system combining “physical separation + electrochemical oxidation”, achieving one-stop purification of manure and urine wastewater from influent to stable discharge compliance with streamlined processes and easy management.
Intelligent Control, Stable Operation & Extremely Simple Management
Equipped with an intelligent control system, the equipment can automatically adapt to fluctuations in breeding wastewater quality (caused by variations in breeding cycles and flushing methods) to ensure stable operation. It features rapid startup capability, flexibly accommodating intermittent or continuous discharge modes, and truly realizing convenient on-demand operation. Its “zero-chemical” design completely eliminates the cumbersome management of chemical procurement, storage, and dosing. Meanwhile, as it generates almost no chemical sludge or excess biological sludge requiring off-site disposal, it significantly reduces the daily operational burden and long-term disposal costs for breeding farms.
Our electrochemical wastewater treatment equipment provides an innovative, high-efficiency, compact, clean, and easy-to-operate solution for large-scale livestock and poultry breeding enterprises facing severe environmental pressure, targeting high-concentration manure and urine wastewater. It serves as a reliable technological choice to help breeding enterprises realize resource utilization of manure waste, achieve stable compliance with discharge standards, improve farm environmental conditions, and enhance comprehensive benefits.
