Wastewater generated during the processing of meat products, poultry slaughtering and cutting, as well as intensive aquatic product processing has a complex composition, containing high concentrations of oil and grease, proteins, blood contaminants, animal fats, visceral residues, and cleaning disinfectants. This type of wastewater is characterized by extremely high organic load (COD, BOD₅), high oil content (especially emulsified oil), a tendency to decompose and produce foul odors, as well as high levels of nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients and suspended solids.

Driven by electrochemical reactions, the equipment achieves highly efficient electro-demulsification, disrupting the stable oil-water interface and promoting rapid separation and aggregation of free oil and emulsified oil. Meanwhile, the generated strong oxidizing species can quickly degrade organic pollutants such as soluble proteins and hemoglobin, and effectively decompose odor-causing molecules including sulfides and amines. The entire process requires no addition of chemical demulsifiers, flocculants, or oxidants, fundamentally avoiding the generation of chemical sludge and the risk of secondary pollution caused by chemical agents, and achieving clean production and odor control.
