This equipment is specifically designed to solve the problems of suspended solids, sediment, rust, and calcium and magnesium ions (scale) in tap water. The system consists of a pre-filter, a fully automatic softening unit (softening tank, ion exchange resin, fully automatic control valve, brine tank), and a post-filter, achieving a stepped treatment process of "filtration first, then softening, and finally fine filtration," resulting in clear, soft, and scale-free water. It is widely used in household drinking water pretreatment, bathing water, boiler feedwater, catering, and commercial water applications.

Pre-filter: PP cotton filter element, intercepts large particles such as sediment, rust, and suspended solids, protecting the subsequent softening system.
Softening tank and resin: High-quality food-grade cation exchange resin (sodium form), effectively removes calcium (Ca²⁺) and magnesium (Mg²⁺) ions from the water, preventing scale buildup at its source.
Fully automatic softening control valve: Integrated time/flow dual-control valve head, automatically completing the entire process of operation, backwashing, regeneration, forward washing, and water replenishment, requiring no manual operation.
Brine tank: Used to dissolve regeneration salt (sodium chloride) and periodically restore the resin's exchange capacity.
Post-filter: Precision PP cotton filter element, further trapping fine particles and improving the quality of the effluent.
Working principle
Pre-filtration: Raw water enters the pre-filter to remove large particles, ensuring the subsequent resin is not clogged.
Softening: Water flows through the sodium-type resin layer in the softening tank. Calcium and magnesium ions are adsorbed by the resin, displacing sodium ions, significantly reducing the hardness of the effluent (to ≤1-5 mg/L).
Fully Automatic Regeneration: When the resin becomes saturated (based on water consumption or a set time), the control valve automatically initiates the regeneration program—backwashing the resin with brine from the brine tank allows sodium ions to re-occupy exchange sites, while the displaced calcium and magnesium ions are discharged with the wastewater. The entire regeneration process is automated, requiring no manual intervention.
Post-filtration: Softened water finally passes through the post-filter to remove residual suspended solids, providing clean water.
