Product Overview
This equipment utilizes electrochemical oxidation technology to specifically treat equipment cleaning wastewater. This type of wastewater typically originates from tank cleaning, reactor rinsing, component cleaning, and pipeline flushing operations. It generally contains high concentrations of surfactants, cleaning agents, degreasers, and dissolved organic matter, resulting in high COD, poor biodegradability, and a tendency to foam.
Traditional treatment methods require the addition of large amounts of chemical agents (flocculators, oxidants, etc.), generating substantial amounts of chemical sludge, leading to high operating costs and secondary pollution. This system directly utilizes electrochemical oxidation to efficiently degrade organic matter, remove COD and surfactants without the need for any added chemicals. It also boasts significant advantages such as non-scaling, non-clogging electrodes, and no sludge production.
Working Principle
After large suspended solids are removed by a pre-filter, the equipment cleaning wastewater enters a circulating water tank and is then pumped into the electrochemical reactor. Under DC power: Electro-oxidation: Strong oxidizing groups (hydroxyl radicals, OH, etc.) are generated at the anode, oxidizing and breaking down surfactants, cleaning agents, and large organic molecules into smaller molecules or mineralizing them into CO₂ and H₂O, significantly reducing COD and wastewater toxicity. No chemical additives: The entire process is electrically driven, without introducing any chemical substances, avoiding salt accumulation or secondary pollution. The treated wastewater is separated into floating scum and clear liquid. The clear liquid can be directly discharged or enter subsequent advanced treatment units (such as biological systems, membrane systems, etc.).
Core advantages
|
Advantages |
illustrate |
|
Highly efficient COD removal |
It achieves a COD removal rate of 60%~90% and has a good degradation effect on surfactants, cleaning agents, organic solvents, etc. |
|
No chemical reagents required |
No flocculants, demulsifiers, or oxidants are added; no chemical sludge is generated; and there are no hazardous waste disposal costs. |
|
Electrode does not scale or clog |
Special electrode materials and working mechanisms effectively inhibit inorganic salt deposition, keeping the electrode plates clean for a long time without the need for frequent acid washing. |
|
Foam suppression |
Electro-oxidative decomposition of surfactants significantly reduces the foaming tendency of wastewater, facilitating subsequent treatment. |
|
Low operating costs |
Consumes only electricity, electrode life > 2 years, fully automatic PLC control, unattended operation. |
|
No secondary pollution |
Without introducing salt or other chemicals, the treated water exhibits improved biodegradability, which is beneficial for subsequent biological treatment. |
