Product Overview
This equipment is specifically designed for emergency wastewater treatment scenarios. In situations such as sudden pollution incidents, abnormal production line drainage, temporary malfunctions of wastewater treatment facilities, rainy season overflows, or urgent rectification during environmental inspections, conventional treatment systems often cannot respond quickly or cope with drastic fluctuations in water quality and quantity.
This system utilizes a skid-mounted/containerized integrated electrochemical oxidation device, offering unique advantages such as rapid deployment, immediate operation, no need for chemicals, and no sludge generation. It can arrive on-site and begin operation within hours, efficiently degrading organic matter, color, and toxic substances in wastewater, quickly achieving compliant discharge or buying time for subsequent treatment. The equipment's electrode modules are non-scaling and non-clogging, adaptable to various complex water qualities, and operate stably and reliably.

Emergency Scenario Issues |
Electrochemical Emergency Treatment Solution |
|
Sudden changes in water quality and quantity, which conventional systems cannot handle. |
Electrochemical oxidation has a broad-spectrum removal effect on COD, color, and toxic organic matter, and can withstand high-load impact. |
|
Rapid start-up is required, with no time for sludge acclimation or chemical dosing adjustments. |
The equipment operates immediately upon power-on, requiring no preheating or debugging. |
|
Lack of on-site chemical reserves and dosing facilities. |
It operates with zero reagents, requiring only electricity and not relying on any chemical supply chain. No sludge is generated, no hazardous waste is produced, and the emergency response itself does not cause secondary pollution. The integrated skid-mounted/container unit has a small footprint and can be placed on any hardened surface. |
|
Large amounts of chemical sludge are generated after emergency treatment, increasing the burden of subsequent disposal. |
It features fully automatic PLC control, one-button start/stop via touchscreen, and remote monitoring, requiring no professional operators. |
|
Limited space prevents the construction of temporary structures. |
Electrochemical oxidation has a broad-spectrum removal effect on COD, color, and toxic organic matter, and can withstand high-load impact. |
|
Staff shortage makes it impossible to assign dedicated personnel for operation. |
The equipment operates immediately upon power-on, requiring no preheating or debugging. |
Working principle
Emergency wastewater is fed into an electrochemical reactor after simple filtration (or direct entry, depending on suspended solids). Under the action of electrodes:
Rapid electro-oxidation: Strong oxidizing groups (hydroxyl radicals, OH, etc.) are instantaneously generated at the anode, rapidly oxidizing and decomposing organic matter and reducing substances in the wastewater, resulting in a significant decrease in COD within a short period.
Removal of color and toxicity: Chromogenic groups and toxic organic matter are destroyed, resulting in clear effluent with reduced toxicity.
The treated effluent meets discharge standards or can be discharged into the municipal sewer system. The amount of scum is minimal and it is not classified as chemical sludge, allowing for disposal as general solid waste.
Core advantages (for emergency response)
|
Advantages |
illustrate |
|
Quick deployment, ready to use immediately |
The equipment has been fully commissioned before leaving the factory; on-site operation only requires connecting the power supply and inlet/outlet water pipes, and it can be put into operation within one hour. |
|
No chemicals required |
It does not rely on flocculants, oxidants, acids, alkalis, or other chemicals, avoiding the risk of reagent shortages or dosage errors in emergency situations. |
|
No sludge produced |
It produces no chemical sludge after treatment, does not increase the burden of hazardous waste disposal, and leaves no residual problems after an emergency. |
|
Adaptable to water quality fluctuations |
It can treat wastewater with COD ranging from several hundred to tens of thousands of mg/L, has strong shock resistance, and requires no frequent parameter adjustments. |
|
Electrodes do not scale or clog |
Even when treating high-hardness, high-salinity wastewater, the electrode surface remains clean, requiring no cleaning even after long-term operation. |
|
Small footprint, easy to move |
It features a skid-mounted or container design, allowing for loading and unloading with forklifts or cranes, and transportation by ordinary trucks. |
|
Fully automatic operation |
One-button start, automatic current and voltage adjustment, and unattended operation make it suitable for situations where there are insufficient personnel at emergency sites. |

Application areas
Abnormal Production Discharge: Emergency treatment before direct discharge of high-concentration organic wastewater caused by production line start-up/shutdown, equipment failure, or operational errors.
Wastewater Treatment Plant Impact Load: Acting as a temporary pretreatment unit to reduce pollutants and protect the main system when influent exceeds standards or the biological system collapses.
Sudden Environmental Accidents: Rapidly establishing treatment capacity on-site for tank leaks, transport rollovers, and chemicals carried by fire-fighting water.
Environmental Inspections or Time-Limited Rectification: Quickly deploying emergency equipment to buy time for rectification when emission standards cannot be met temporarily.
Wastewater Overflow After Natural Disasters: Emergency treatment before discharge when heavy rain or floods cause wastewater treatment plants to malfunction or overflow.
Temporary Engineering Project Drainage: Treatment of temporary wastewater generated from field construction, pipeline cleaning, and ship tank washing.
Emergency Procedures:
Emergency wastewater → Collection tank/storage tank (with simple screen) → Booster pump → Electrochemical emergency treatment equipment → Discharge to meet standards or connected to the municipal sewer system
