This equipment is specifically designed for the removal and reuse of organic matter in industrial process water. In many production processes, process water (such as cleaning water, cooling water, process water, and overflow from tanks) accumulates small amounts of organic matter, surfactants, or other soluble pollutants. Although the salinity and suspended solids are not high, the organic matter concentration is insufficient for reuse, leading to waste if directly discharged. Conventional activated carbon or resin adsorption methods are inefficient due to frequent replacement and high operating costs.

 

This system employs electrochemical oxidation technology to efficiently degrade residual organic matter in water without adding any chemical agents, reducing COD, color, and toxicity, ensuring the treated water meets process reuse standards. The equipment boasts significant advantages such as non-scaling and non-clogging electrodes, no secondary pollution, and low operating costs. It can be safely and stably reused in cleaning, cooling, and batching processes, significantly reducing fresh water intake and wastewater discharge..

Working principle

Process water enters the electrochemical treatment equipment after passing through a pre-filter (optional, depending on suspended solids). Under the action of electrodes:

Electro-oxidation: Strong oxidizing groups (hydroxyl radicals, OH, etc.) are generated at the anode, oxidizing and decomposing organic matter in the water into CO₂ and H₂O, or converting it into harmless small molecules, resulting in a significant decrease in COD.

No chemicals, no residue: The treatment process does not introduce any chemicals, resulting in pure effluent that does not affect the original salinity and conductivity of the process water, avoiding adverse effects on production.

The treated effluent can be reused in processes with limits on organic pollutants after simple sedimentation or filtration (depending on requirements)..
