Corrosion-Resistant Submerged Pump: Designed for conveying corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and strong oxidants.
The fluoroplastic submerged pump is a type of submerged pump with fluoroplastic as the inner lining. Fluoroplastic 46, whose full name is perfluoroethylene-propylene resin, features excellent heat resistance and cold resistance, allowing long-term operation within a temperature range of -20℃~200℃. It also boasts outstanding low friction, self-lubrication, electrical insulation and chemical stability, being resistant to corrosion by various strong acids, strong alkalis and strong oxidants. Hence, it is known as the "King of Plastics".
Thanks to these excellent properties, fluoroplastic is particularly suitable for manufacturing components of pumps requiring high corrosion resistance. The FYH fluoroplastic submerged pump leverages the design advantages of traditional stainless steel submerged pumps while incorporating the superior characteristics of fluoroplastic. This ensures the pump has excellent leak-proof and spill-proof performance, along with enhanced energy efficiency and environmental friendliness.
Working Principle and Structure
Submerged Operation:The motor is connected to the pump body via a long shaft. The motor is installed above the liquid level (dry installation) or a submersible motor is adopted (wet installation), while the impeller is completely submerged below the liquid surface.
Direct Conveyance:Liquid directly enters the submerged pump suction port, and the centrifugal force generated by the rotating impeller pushes the liquid into the discharge pipeline, eliminating the need to consider suction lift.
Structure:Composed of a submersible motor (or long-shaft motor), pump casing, impeller, guide vane, lifting chain/guide rod and discharge elbow, the pump features a compact structure and can be directly placed in the medium.
Application Scenarios
This product is widely used in industries such as chemical engineering, acid manufacturing, alkali manufacturing, metallurgy, rare earth processing, pesticide production, dye manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, electroplating, pickling, radio, and formed foil production, for transferring corrosive media including acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and strong oxidants.
