The oily wastewater generated during petrochemical refining, oilfield exploitation, and oil product storage and transportation processes has an extremely complex composition, containing free oil, dispersed oil, emulsified oil, and soluble petroleum hydrocarbon organics. Characterized by high chemical oxygen demand (COD) and difficult oil-water separation, such wastewater also presents multiple challenges to traditional treatment processes (e.g., dissolved air flotation, demulsification, biochemical methods), including high consumption of demulsifiers, large sludge output, limited treatment efficiency for emulsified oil, and significant vulnerability of operational stability to shock loads.

Adopting a synergistic technology of electrochemical advanced oxidation and demulsification, this system is specially designed for efficient emulsion breaking and degradation of various petroleum hydrocarbon pollutants, providing a clean and high-efficiency treatment solution that eliminates reliance on large doses of chemical agents and avoids the risk of secondary solid waste.

High-Efficiency Electro-demulsification & Advanced Oxidation for Source Pollution Reduction
Driven by electrochemical reactions, the equipment generates micro-bubbles and strong oxidizing species, enabling highly efficient electro-demulsification to disrupt stable oil-water interfaces and facilitate effective aggregation and separation of oil substances. Meanwhile, the produced hydroxyl radicals and other reactive species can deeply oxidize and decompose refractory organics such as soluble petroleum hydrocarbons and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). The entire process requires no addition of traditional chemical demulsifiers or large amounts of flocculants, eliminating the generation of chemical sludge and secondary pollution at the source, and achieving cleaner oil-water separation and pollutant degradation.
